Anger and Rage - sometimes the most cleansing of emotions, often the most dangerous. Mixed with issues of power, these emotions of anger and rage provide fuel for family violence (or more accurately, family violations) as well as other problems.

The process is both theoretical and experiential so as to give each person an understanding of HOW problems occur as well as methods of safe management - before and after the issues mount in intensity. Consideration is given especially to uncooperative situations.

The weekends are set up to explore these emotions in a safe and supportive community, and are usually gender-specific to allow deeper exploration.

Working lunches (as well as snacks) are provided for Saturday and Sunday.

Given the excellent feedback Dave receives on this weekend program, he also offers a week-long training in Anger Management to therapists and others who want more detailed exposure to his philosophy and methods.

Comments from participants:

... without question the most effective anger management program I have encountered in my more than twenty years as probation officer. ...amongst those who have attended (60+), I cannot think of a single individual who has re-offended.  ... I am amazed to see the progress that can come about in one weekend.
- J.S. (probation and parole officer, regional office)

... I have a framework to follow and guide me along my [personal journey].  ... a dynamic practical approach which goes deep into the causes of anger.  ... Through Dave's approach, a permanent solution is available; through other approaches the solution is temporary.
- P.C. (staff sergeant, regional police department)

... very worthwhile.  ... I am learning to consciously and carefully respond, rather than to immediately react
- W.G. (BA, MSc)

... grounded in real life skills. The integrity which Dave brings ... has made important contributions to my personal and professional growth
- M.G. (Director Materials Mngmt, auto manufacturing company)

Further skill development is offered in Men and Women Coming Together (Communication and Cooperation skills for singles and couples) so as to be effective in relationships. This workshop questions the possibility of living in relationship, while including anger and rage without violation? Explore this question at a deeper level --- based in part on The Stone Game.
